Zelensky fired Ukraine's permanent representative to the UN Kislitsa and several ambassadors

President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky dismissed Ukrainian diplomatic representatives in six countries and a number of international organizations, Ukrayinska Pravda reports, citing decrees of the head of state.

So, Zelensky fired:

• Sergei Kislitsa from the posts of Representative to the UN, Ambassador to the Commonwealth of the Bahamas and Trinidad and Tobago;
• Evgeniy Filipenko from the post of representative at the UN office and other international organizations in Geneva;
• Andrew the Righteous from the post of Ambassador to Rwanda;
• Andrej Taran from the post of Ambassador to Slovenia;
• Petra Beshtu from the post of Ambassador to Lithuania;
• Sergei Korsunsky from the post of Ambassador to Japan;
• Vasily Gamyanin from the posts of Ambassador to Indonesia and Representative to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations;
• Pavel Ryabikin from the post of Ambassador to the People's Republic of China.

The President of Ukraine appointed new ambassadors to five countries: Yulia Fediv as ambassador to the Republic of the Philippines, Vyacheslav Yatsyuk as ambassador to Rwanda, Olga Nikitchenko as ambassador to Lithuania, Fedor Sandor as ambassador to Hungary and Petr Beshta as ambassador to Slovenia.

• The Ukrainian authorities announced replacements and new appointments of ambassadors back in the fall. Thus, the head of the country’s Foreign Ministry, Andrei Sibiga, after his appointment in early September, announced a number of personnel decisions and a revision of Ukraine’s foreign policy strategy. In an address on the evening of December 20, the country's President Vladimir Zelensky said that he had agreed on the appointment of more than 30 Ukrainian ambassadors abroad.
