Moscow authorities have promised to build dozens of new metro stations
By 2030, it is planned to build more than 40 metro and MCD stations in Moscow. This was stated by the capital's mayor Sergei Sobyanin, speaking at a meeting of the Moscow City Duma.

The mayor of Moscow added that from 2011 to 2024, more than 1.4 thousand kilometers of new roads were built in the city and the length of the main road network was increased by almost a quarter. Also during this time, 256 metro stations, MCC and MCD appeared in the capital.
“Today, according to international experts, not our opinion, Moscow has taken first place among the world’s megacities in terms of accessibility to public transport,” Sobyanin said.
