
As a result of the Ukrainian strike on Lgov, Kursk region, four people were killed and five more were injured. This was reported by the acting governor of the region, Alexander Khinshtein.
According to him, three people died immediately after the impact, another died in the hospital. One of the injured women is in serious condition.
In addition, as a result of the impact, a five-story residential building, two one-story houses, a beauty salon building and 12 cars were damaged. A section of the gas pipeline was also destroyed. The supply of gas and electricity is temporarily suspended.
In connection with the attack, the authorities have deployed an operational headquarters in Lgov, all services are working, Khinshtein said. Residents of damaged houses are being evacuated.
Earlier, Vladimir Zelensky said that on the morning of December 25, the Russian military launched more than 70 missiles and at least 100 drones into Ukraine. According to him, the target of the attack was the Ukrainian energy system. The Ukrainian Armed Forces managed to shoot down more than 50 missiles and most of the Russian drones. Power outages began in several regions of Ukraine.
