In Dzerzhinsk, Nizhny Novgorod region, security forces conducted a search in the apartment of the author of the YouTube channel “Bulletin of the Storm” Andrei Rudoy. The blogger reported this on his Telegram channel.
According to Rudoy, FSB officers came to his home around 16:00. They forcibly took his phone while it was unlocked, as well as his hard drive, laptop and two memory cards.
The blogger claims that he is charged with preparing a terrorist attack in the Nizhny Novgorod region and communicating with Ilya Ponomarev. However, no criminal cases have been brought against him. The security forces did not detain Rudoy.
“My apartment was searched. The reasons are not any specific case, but the court decision with which they came. They had all the necessary documents, and the lawyer confirmed that the actions were formally within the law,” the blogger clarified.
In October 2022, security forces already came to Rudom; they carried out a preliminary check to initiate a criminal case under the article on “discrediting” the Russian army. According to the blogger, the attention of the operational officers was related to anti-war posts in a certain group on VKontakte, where he was an administrator along with other activists. After the search, the blogger temporarily left for Kazakhstan, and then returned to Russia again.
