In Vladivostok, a man stole a car, then rammed it into several cars and crashed into the doors of an Orthodox church. A message about this appeared in the official telegram channel of the regional prosecutor's office.
“Driving a high-risk vehicle, the defendant drove through the pedestrian area of the central square of the regional capital, rammed several cars, after which he tried to hide from the State Traffic Inspectorate officers, but was detained in the area of house No. 41 on the street. In turn, the telegram channel Baza, which is close to the security forces, without indicating sources, clarifies that the detainee was 37-year-old Alexander G., who previously worked as an investigator. According to the channel, after the arrest, the man told the police that he crashed into the church doors because he was outraged by the ban on the use of candles in the temple.
In addition, Alexander conveyed his greetings to local officials, after which he called them bribe-takers and demanded that they leave the country within 24 hours. As Baza notes, an on-site alcohol test showed zero alcohol content in the detainee’s blood.
