Alexander Komin, a student at the Anapa Industrial College, died on the night of January 15. Local media claim that the teenager had chronic asthma, and on the day of his death he went to clean the shore.

The young man’s cousin told 93.ru that the deceased actually helped remove fuel oil, but independently or as part of a group is unknown. He clarified that an ambulance was called for Alexandra, but it did not arrive in time. At the same time, the relatives of the deceased have not yet contacted law enforcement agencies.

Komin's death was confirmed at the technical school. They clarified that students and teachers do participate in work on the beaches, “but only adults are involved in this,” and Komin “was never included in organized groups.”

The Kuban operational headquarters also stated that the deceased was not an organized volunteer cleaning the resort’s beaches. Investigations are currently underway and a forensic medical examination has been ordered. The cause of the teenager's death is still unknown.
