OVD-Info: The FSB declared 172 organizations “terrorist”. Nothing is known about 68 of them

In early January, the FSB published a list of 172 “structural units” of the organization “Forum of Free States of Post-Russia,” which had previously been declared terrorist. No information was found about 68 of them, the human rights project OVD-Info found out after studying the list.

The list of “structural divisions,” as noted by OVD-Info, includes foundations and movements that promote the ideas of independence of individual regions of Russia or unite activists from indigenous peoples - for example, “Asians of Russia”, “Free Buryatia”, “Free Yakutia” , “League of Free Nations”, “Free Idel-Ural” and others.

At the same time, human rights activists were unable to find information about 68 “structural units” from the FSB list. Regional activists and specialists, as OVD-Info writes, doubt the existence of the Oryol Autonomous Republic, the Republic of Muscovy or the Northern Union movements.

In addition, the list included , for example, the “Belgorod People’s Republic” movement, the existence of which is unknown - most likely, this is a Ukrainian meme about the “annexation” of the Belgorod region to Ukraine, playing on the analogy with the self-proclaimed LPR and DPR.

Also among the “structural divisions” are 11 regional media. Representatives of two of them, the Komi Daily publication and the TatPolit publication, reported that they have no relation to the Forum of Free States of Post-Russia.

Among the remaining “structural units,” as OVD-Info writes, are 20 military formations participating in hostilities as part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and five partisan movements carrying out sabotage in the regions.
