However, the only contact that he managed to find belonged to a man named David Davis - he recommended Platt to the lessor.
Redman called Davis to tell about the death of his acquaintance, and invited him to the police station.

At a meeting with the police, Davis told Redman that he and Platt met just a few years ago, but managed to become very close - he called Platt the best friend and "family soul."
