"Anna's hands"

For me, the most unexpected story and embodiment.

For the first time after the “Country of the Deaf” we are seriously plunging into the world of the hearing impaired. But, unlike Todorovsky’s film, where there was a come up conditional world: mafiosi, masks, Sinefilian references, Polina Sineva - herself deaf (she said that this is what she should be called - unlike the hearing impaired) - he seriously talks about the problems of the insulation of the hearing impaired. This is a movie, first of all, about the distance of enormous size, regardless of the degree of proximity with relatives, friends, colleagues. Psychological drama mixes with criminal.

Anna (Daria Savelyeva) is a teacher who has hearing problems - the second degree of hearing loss. She is Coda - a child of hearing impaired parents. Her worsening hearing is a hereditary problem.

However, deafness here is not only a physical flaw, but also a psychological problem - a metaphor for torn ties. Her husband speaks of a deaf wall between herself and Anna, she hid her family and all family problems from him. The wall between Anna and the brother may have caused his death. He and his mother do not understand - they do not hear each other. Silent commemoration, memorial toasts in the language of gestures, only the ringing of dishes is heard. The volume, air of unpredictable reality, the feeling of almost tactile truth, it seems to me, arise thanks to the human experience of the director and the professional experience of the creative producer and teacher Natalia Meshchaninova. Without her, this movie would not be. Popying the name, I will say that in every episode I saw the "Hands of the Meshchaninova."

From Dasha Savelyeva, as always, do not tear herself away. The point is not that she learned the brutal language in which some dialogs unfold. Her heroine is trying to survive inside the funnel of the tragedy. Loneliness and misunderstanding. Torn by living relationships. The film did not receive the maximum number of votes. But I hope Okko will find the opportunity to complete it. Either in the format of four episodes, or a game - at least a two -part - movie.

"Abugras"

The plot is secondary. I recall the "track", "black sun", "inside the killer." But from the point of view of the genre and profession - everything is in order. Therefore, the pilot won both in the audience voting and in the industrial.
