The Armed Forces of Ukraine are deployed at the front by robotic units in the team of brigades. The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umarov reported this in the official telegram channel of his department.
“We introduce innovative technologies in defense to preserve our warriors. The Ministry of Defense launches a project that allows you to scale the use of unmanned ground complexes in the army. <...> This project is based on the test experience conducted since the summer of 2024 in cooperation with the military, ”the report said.

Umarov writes that the Armed Forces plan to use ground unmanned complexes in offensive and defense, as well as in logistics, the evacuation of the wounded from the battlefield and work on mining and clearance.
According to Umarov, “leading domestic companies” will become the main suppliers of ground robotic complexes to the troops. “Our goal is to create an army where innovative technologies help to carry out the most dangerous tasks, preserving the life of our defenders,” the Ukrainian Minister of Defense said.
