The Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation announced the Norwegian non -governmental organization The Independent Barents Observer AS (Tibo AS) is undesirable in Russia, the department’s website reported .

Tibo AS is the owner and publisher of The Barents Observer, who writes about the events of the Barents Region-parts of Northern Europe, which includes territories adjacent to the Barents Sea.

According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, "a significant part of the published materials has a pronounced anti -Russian orientation." "It is noteworthy that their preparations are engaged in the citizens of the Russian Federation who left the country, included in the register of foreign agents or in the list of terrorists and extremists," the department said in a statement.
