The authorities are developing special contracts to attract young men to the army

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky told Reuters that the country's authorities are going to offer special contracts to attract young men at the age of 18-24 in the armed forces of the armed forces.

Combat brigades, experienced, together with the Ministry of Defense [...] work on a contract option for young people aged 18 to 24 years. This is for those who want to join, this is not mobilization.

According to Zelensky, the contracts will be valid for one year, he promised that the recruits that have concluded them would receive a lot of benefits and “very high” monetary support.

The President of Ukraine did not specify when it would be possible to conclude such contracts, but promised that the details would be published in the coming days.

The allies of Ukraine, in particular the United States, have repeatedly stated that the Ukrainian authorities should strengthen mobilization. According to Washington, it was the lack of manpower at the front - and not the absence of a sufficient amount of weapons - led to the fact that Russian troops were advancing in the Donetsk region for many months. This point of view was expressed both in the administration of Joe Biden and the team of Donald Trump.

So, in mid -January, the current adviser to Trump on national security, Michael Walz directly called on the Ukrainian authorities to lower the recruiting age from 25 to 18 years. “It seems to me that many people do not understand that they can attract hundreds of thousands of new military. We hear about moral problems, about problems at the front. Listen, if Ukrainians ask the whole world to go v-bank for democracy, it is necessary that they go to V-Bank for the sake of democracy, ” said Walz.

In Ukraine itself, against the backdrop of a shortage of military personnel at the front in the conditions of mobilization, illegal actions of TCC employees are regularly discussed , such as raids on recruiting men on the streets or at massevents . The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced plans to develop for employees the Code of Communication with military service.

And I understand that nothing has changed. If tomorrow Russia rolls up to zero, the day after tomorrow - to the tenths, and then again the question of “Russian protection from radioactive mosquitoes from Ukraine” will again arise, everything will happen exactly the same. No conclusions have been made, everything that happens is only attempts to justify the current state of each individual. How is the classic there? “If I fall asleep and wake up in a hundred years, and they will ask me what is happening in Russia now ...”

I don't give a damn about your past guilt - this has already happened, and it cannot be returned. But all these above people (and millions of others) in the new war will again say that we are not to blame, it happened. Forgetting all their little imperial bricks in the chain "everything was done by the Russians - I am proud - hello, resentification - we can repeat."
