While the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are preparing new offenses, the Armed Forces of Ukraine went on a counterattack in the Kursk region and Pokrovsk. Did they manage to push the Russian troops?

While Russian troops are regrouped for new offenses, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (Armed Forces) organized several counterattacks on different sections of the front. To the south of Sudzhi, they tried to cut off the Russian group, bogged down in battles for the suburbs, the village of Makhnovka. To the west of Pokrovsk, the Ukrainian units tried to recapture industrial suburbs recently captured by the Armed Forces (Sun). However, in general, the Armed Forces are still in a difficult situation. The Russian command seems to be preparing a new series of performances in the central and northern parts of the Donbass, as well as in the east of the Kharkov region.

Kursk region

• At the end of December, Russian troops reached the southern outskirts of Sudzhi. There, a breakthrough from the side of the village of Cherkasskaya Konopelka through Makhnovka was stopped by the counterattacks of the Armed Forces.
• The positions of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in Makhnovka were connected to the main forces of the road walking along a narrow corridor near the Psel River. On January 6, the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces were struck by two mechanized columns. One attacked from the Kolmakov farm in the direction of the Russian Konopelka, the other - through the Cherkasy Konopelka in the direction of the Psel River.
• The Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were able to land the landing south of the Cherkasy Konopelka before the Russian army attacked them with drones. Despite the losses in technology, Ukrainian troops were fixed in the forest between the Cherkasy Konopelka and Ulankom, thereby cutting the supply lines of the RF Armed Forces on the outskirts of Sudzhi. Judging by the video blows of Russian drones, the Armed Forces of Ukraine were able to break through to Fanaseevka on the shores of Psel.
• The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced that "the attacks were repulsed," but the Russian "military commissar" did not agree with him .
• The battles to the west and north from Sudzhi continue. The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation could not knock the Armed Forces out of the fortified areas in Malaya Lokn and Sverdlikovo, without the occupation of which Ukrainian troops from Sudzhi cannot be supplanted, as required by the Kremlin.

Pokrovsk and Kurakhovo

• The Armed Forces of the Armed Forces were again counterattered by Russian troops, which made their way to the Western industrial outskirts of Pokrovsk. The Ukrainian mechanized column burst into the village of Peschanaya, where there is a coal mine under construction. Earlier, the village was captured by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. The Armed Forces of Ukraine wedged into the Russian defense of several hundred meters, but they failed to completely occupy the sandy.
• The counterattacks of the Armed Forces are not yet threatened with the main Russian forces that storm the industrial villages of Kotlino and a successful further to the north. However, there the pace of the offensive of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in recent days has decreased.
• The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation occupied the village of Dachnaya to the west of Kurakhovo. The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to depart from the previously captured Russian troops of the city-they are still threatened by the environment in the village of Andreevka, Constantinople and Ulakla.

Toretsk

• The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced that Russian troops completely captured the city of Toretsk. It is not clear in which borders the department determines the boundaries of the city: part of the territory of neighboring working villages is still controlled by the Armed Forces (they are part of the official city community of Toretsk). However, the city center and northern regions really completely transferred to the control of the Russian army.
• Perhaps the Russian command is going to develop an offensive from Toretsk to Konstantinovka in the near future. A video appeared (its authenticity cannot be established), at which Russian military personnel in Toretsk discuss the transfer to the surroundings of the city of the 8th combined arms army consisting of two divisions from under Kurakhovo-to help the 51st Army operating in this area.

Kupyansk

• Russian troops expand the bridgehead on the western bank of the Oskol River north of Kupyansk.
• Earlier, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation occupied the village of Dvurechnaya, and now strengthened in the villages of West (south of the double -gun), Novomlynsk and Figolevka (north of this village). Russian troops also managed to occupy heights on the river bank, which would facilitate the defense of the bridgehead.
• If the RF Armed Forces expand the bridgehead to the border of Russia, they will be able to introduce heavy equipment and artillery on it and supply them with ammunition. The troops on the bridgehead will then be a real danger to Kupyansk, most of which is located on the western coast of Oskol 10 kilometers from the advanced positions of the Russian army.
• The Armed Forces have not yet transferred reserves to this dangerous direction: only a few separate weak battalions occupy the defense around the bridgehead.
