The fire area in the building on the territory of the Moscow electric factory increased to 800 square meters, TASS reports with reference to emergency services.
Earlier, the fire area was estimated at 100, and then at 300 square meters. The rapid spread of fire was facilitated by wooden floors in the building, the Ministry of Emergencies said.
Whether people remain in a burning building is unclear. Earlier, the Ministry of Emergencies said that more than 90 people were saved from the upper floors, and more than 120 were able to leave it on their own. According to the Baza telegram channel, 13 people were hospitalized with non-hazardous poisoning products of combustion (officially in the Moscow Department of Health reported three hospitalized).
According to preliminary data, the cause of the fire could be faulty wiring or overload in its work.
