Moscow states that she has not yet received “specific proposals” about the start of negotiations

Applications that appear in the West and in Ukraine should be perceived as “warming up the information field to create the atmosphere they need and the most profitable positions,” Mikhail Galuzin said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

The diplomat noted that in order to start the process of negotiations, it should be accompanied by "practical steps taking into account the legitimate interests of Russia, demonstrating the willingness to eradicate the root causes of the crisis and recognize new realities."

“Concrete sentences of this nature have not yet been received,” Galuzin said.

Once again he assured that Russia "remains open to the dialogue" and wants to achieve the "final settlement of the crisis." According to Galuzin, for this it is necessary to "eradicate his root causes", including the expansion of NATO and "the violation of the rights of ethnic Russian and Russian -language residents of Ukraine."

US President Donald Trump, who calls one of the priority goals of his foreign policy, the termination of the Russian-Ukrainian war, since taking office, regularly says that non-public negotiations with Moscow and Kiev are already going on-and are “good”. Moscow indicates the "haste" of such statements.

On February 9, Trump said that there is “progress” in the negotiations on the end of the war. He emphasized that the United States maintain contacts with Ukraine and Russia. The day before, Trump said that he had already talked with Russian President Vladimir Putin, but did not specify what they were talking about specifically. The press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov did not confirm, but did not refute the fact of such a conversation.

German politicians exclude the rapid entry of Ukraine to NATO

German Chancellor Olaf Sholts and the most likely future chancellor, the leader of the CDU/CSS Friedrich Mertz party, in the opinion that Ukraine would not be a member of NATO in the near future.
