Out of Poland arrested a Russian citizen on suspicion of “coordination of sabotage against Poland, the USA and other allies,” said Donald Tusk Prime Minister Donald Tusk.
According to Tusk, the Russian was hiding in Bosnia and Herzegovina and was deported from there to Poland.
The Minister of Internal Affairs and the administration Polish Semonyak wrote about the “serious blow to the Russian sabotage network in Europe”, which became possible thanks to the work of the Polish internal security agency (AWB). He clarified that a Russian citizen was arrested for three months in the case of sabotage.
In January of St. Petersburg, the Consulate General of Poland closed - this was a response to the closure of the Russian Consulate in the city of Poznan in the west of Poland. The head of the Polish Foreign Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Radoslav Sikorsky, explained this decision by the "attempt to sabotage."
Last May, Poland authorities twice reported the arrests of alleged saboteurs acting in the interests of Russia. Among the detainees were citizens of Poland, Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. Then Tusk said that within the framework of one of the sabotage, the detainees planned to set fire to the paints production plant in Wroclaw.
