The Vologda Regional Court restored at work a 37-year-old employee SK Olga Clunin. In April 2024, the senior investigator from Ustyuzhn was fired for “violation of the oath” and “committing a misconduct, defaming the honor of an employee of the UK” - she wrote several posts about Boris Nemtsov and Alexei Navalny. The text of the decision of January 21, 2025 was published on the court website.
The court also ordered the Office of the IC in the Vologda region to pay Klunina about 623 thousand rubles for five months of “forced absenteeism”, the document said.
On March 19, 2024, a colleague Klunina discovered a statement from a person in the postal box of the investigation department, “whose identity was not possible,” the court materials said. The anonymous denunciation said that Klunin on her VKontakte page “posted notes in support of Navalny A.A. and Nemtsova B.E., leaving a negative comment regarding the circumstances of the issuance of the body of a convicted Navalny to relatives after the forensic medical examination of the corpse, calling the investigators of the IC of Russia, who conducted a procedural audit on the fact of Navalny’s death and gave permission to issue a body to relatives, “nonhumans” ".
In the course of the official inspection, the head of the Ustyuzhensky investigative department Vitaly Tarkov said that on February 28 he received a message from the “employee of the operational unit” of the FSB from the village of Kadui on February 28, which is 100 kilometers from Ustyuzhny. The unnamed employee sent the screenshots of her messages to the head of Klunina, demanding “conduct a preventive conversation about the inadmissibility of such behavior,” the court decision said.

From the materials of the audit it follows that on February 24, 2024, Klunin published Vkontakte a poem ending with lines: “Give the body of the mother”, and under the post she left a comment: “After how many circles of hell to her (Mother Navalny A.A. - Navalny L.I.) I had to go through these 9 days. You can’t wish the enemy. Nonhumans. " On February 27, Klunina published a photo of a group of people with a poster on which there was a photograph of Boris Nemtsov and the inscription “Killed for freedom”. Under the post, as follows from the text of the solution, Klunin wrote: “Freedom is expensive. Sometimes too. " On March 1, on the day of the funeral of Alexei Navalny, an image of burning church candles appeared on Klunina's page without any comments.
The official audit considered Klunina’s actions “aimed at discrediting the activities of the IC of Russia and undermining its authority in society”, and also regarded them “as support for the collapse of the current constitutional system in the country”. On April 16, 2024, Olga Klunin was fired - at that time she worked as a senior investigator for 10 years.
The Babaevsky District Court of the Vologda Oblast in September 2024 partially satisfied the lawsuit by Klunina, disagreing with the conclusions of the official audit in her regard. In January 2025, the Vologda Regional Court canceled the verdict of the court of first instance, indicating in its decision that Klunina’s actions were led to “to discredit the activities of the IC of Russia and undermining its authority in society”. At the same time, Klunina’s dismissal was recognized as illegal - she alone brings up a four -year -old child.
In court, Olga Klunin did not deny the authorship of publications, but added that the post about Nemtsova “concerned his public political activity”, and he does not remember whom she called “nonhumans”. Klunin refused to answer the questions of the “mediazones”.
