In the suburbs, a 15-year-old schoolgirl complained about violence and coercion to suicide in a pre-trial detention center. She was accused of terrorism after a video with firecracker

The prosecutor's office organized an audit

The Dmitrov city prosecutor’s office will check the statements of a 15-year-old schoolgirl from Balashikha about beating, bullying and sexualized violence in a pre-trial detention center, where she was on charges of propaganda of terrorism (Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code) and participation in the terrorist community (Article 205.5 of the Criminal Code). This was announced by a member of the Human Rights Council under the President of the Russian Federation (HRC) Eva Merkacheva in an article for the Moscow Komsomolets.

The story of a schoolgirl named Lyuba was told in early February “such things” and “Caution, news” . According to her mother, in 2023 the girl stumbled upon a few videos about the mass murder in the American school of Columbine in 1999. In search of information about what happened, she found telegram channels that promised to tell the details of what happened after signing a pre-filled questionnaire. It said: “I’m going to arrange a massive and cruel sculpture in my school for four years later. Fair suicide at the end. Strong mood for murders. "

Later Lyuba later posted on social networks a video in which she explodes firecrackers. Based on this, in November 2023, police and investigators came to the school where the girl studied, and her mother and her mother interrogated. When examining the teenager, two knives, firecrackers and two T -shirts with Wrath inscriptions (English - “Anger”) and Natural Selection (English - “Natural Selection”) were found. Lyuba was arrested on charges of propaganda of terrorism and participation in the terrorist community. At that time she was 14 years old.

During the trials, experts came to the conclusion that firecracker is not an explosive device. Also in Roskomnadzor they said that the telegram channels in which the girl were not terrorist, and were blocked only a few days after the arrest of the schoolgirl. Despite this, the court left Lyuba in jail.

Under arrest, the girl’s condition worsened - she constantly cried, did not eat and could not fall asleep. She later told her mother that in May 2024

The neighbors in the cell beat her and humiliated her for several days - cut her hair, lowered her head into the toilet, spat on it and doused with oil. In addition, the cellmates forced Lyuba to show the genitals and raped objects.

They later began to incline the schoolgirl to suicide. The girl tried to cut the veins in her arms. She also showed traces of beatings on her body.

Employees of the pre -trial detention center denied information about violence against a schoolgirl and refused to provide the court with videos from the institution, saying that they were stored only 30 days. “MK” also notes that before Love's complaints, the leadership of the insulator gave it a positive characteristic, and after their appearance, the opposite.

The mother of the arrested schoolgirl repeatedly complained to the UK and the prosecutor’s office about what happened to her daughter, but her appeals were not recorded.

In September 2024, Lube was diagnosed with “mental disorder” and recommended that it be placed in a hospital for treatment. She was sent to a psychiatric hospital only in November after numerous complaints of violence. On February 13, 2025, the court refused to transfer Lyuba under house arrest, extended her forced medical measures and left it in a medical institution until May 5.

The chairman of the Moscow Region Public Supervisory Commission, Sergei Leonov, said that social activists did not find confirmation of information about the use of violence against the girl.

At the same time, MK writes that the prosecutor's office revealed violations in the actions of the investigation, which never opened a criminal case on the fact of sexualized violence against a schoolgirl. The department emphasized that statements about possible violence did not even get into the book of registration of crimes. On the fact of the incident, a check was organized.
