Residents of the Kursk region massively complain about the cases of looting. The head of one of the affected areas may be involved in them

A month ago, the Kursk garrison military court issued the first verdict in the case of looting in the Kursk region. The soldier Stanislav Lopatin was found guilty under Part 1 of Art. 356.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, but no details regarding what Lopatin had committed specifically and what punishment received in court. January 23 is another sentence. A military named Nikita Sobolev was condemned for large -scale looting with a large scale with the use of violence. Both criminals, apparently, operated in the western regions of the Kursk region, when Ukrainian troops entered the region in August 2024.

In August 2024, the Sudzhansky district was occupied by the Armed Forces, and the neighboring ones were empty. They did not prepare for such a scenario in the region, so the locals fled, throwing their homes. Korenevsky district, where the Ukrainian units never reached, a wave of looting overwhelmed. The locals who returned to their own peril and risk found that their houses were plundered, and in some someone lived. Now the victims of the looters want to achieve compensation and converted to the organs massively, but they look at the problem through their fingers. The Wind project learned that they feel robbed by looters and how the odious head of the district Marina Degtyareva can be connected with this.

"Our TV is large, but it was not touched, too heavy"

As a large father and resident of Korenevo Vladimir E. told us, in the early days of the invasion he left the village with his family. In mid -September, when the front line moved west, residents of the district and volunteers were allowed to return for a while.

“We [with my brother] went early in the morning, when it was still dark so as not to run into the drone. We went several times, once they even hit the shelling. As they arrived [the first time] - the gates are open, in the courtyard it is clear that they were “digging”, they stole a gas cylinder. They pulled out tools for 40-50 thousand rubles from the barn, the dog was killed. The chainsaws, benzos, drill, a grinder, a set of keys are gone.

They climbed into the house through the window. They carried out a box with spare parts for a computer: a video card 30-40 thousand, for a large family, this is a lot of money. I gathered a computer to my eldest son so that he could study, study, and this is how it happened. Our TV is large, but it was not touched, apparently too heavy. The most offensive is that the whole house was turned upside down. I can assume that the military could take tools from the yard - I can understand this, tools are needed. But when I went into the house, and there such a mess - it was a little offensive.

I did not believe until the last. We were already in the PVR, I told people: “What are you? There [in the village] there is a police and the military, they will patrol, they will not let them steal at home, ”but everything turned out in a completely different way,” he complains.

Like many residents of Korenev, Vladimir wants to achieve compensation and is going to contact the police, however, as his acquaintances say, law enforcement officers do not accept the statements of looting and advise the victims to write that "the theft has occurred."

False alarm

As the Kursk activist Vladimir Sinelnikov told us, by numerous cases of looting, the scandalously known head of the Korenevsky district, Marina Degtyareva, can be involved in numerous cases. “Both the military and residents themselves indicate her participation in this,” the activist says.

In his opinion, “matery is mainly engaged in convicts in the service,” and the head of Degtyarev could enter into a “conspiracy with the commandant” - it is probably about the commandant of the Kursk garrison. Degtyareva allegedly gave him instructions. Our interlocutor claims that at his disposal there are voice messages to both Degtyareva and the commandant, which indicate their interaction. However, Sinelnikov refused to provide any evidence, citing pressure.

The official, about whom Sinelnikov was talking about, "became famous" in the fall of 2024, when she was booed at a meeting with ex-governor Smirnov. Outraged residents of the Korenevsky district for several months sought the resignation of Degtyareva. They blame the official in the failure of the evacuation and claim that during the invasion of the Ukrainian troops she fled, throwing fellow countrymen to their fate.

Later, another detail surfaced: before the invasion, Degtyareva’s relatives owned the local Black Angels strip club, where, according to telegram channels, the workers were forced to prostitution, and the head of the district allegedly “roofed”. Under the pressure of refugees, the ex-governor Smirnov invited the head of the district to resign. However, Degtyareva did not leave and even went to Smirnov himself. Two and a half thousand signatures collected by the Korenevites for her resigned did not help Degtyarev to move.

As it turned out, the regional administration had questions to the head before: on February 12, Sinelnikov again publicly accused Marina Degtyarev, this time of excess of official powers and misinformation. The social activist said that two years ago, on October 11, 2022, the official spread a false message among residents: “Intelligence reported that massive blows are planned not only on the border, but also in the Korenevsky district,” and asked the inhabitants to be ready.

According to Sinelnikov, a panic began in the village and many hastened to leave, but no strokes happened. After that, the local police station received an application for Degtyarev. The answer to him fell into the hands of Sinelnikov: from the papers published by a blogger it follows that “in the actions of the degree, signs of the corpus delicti under Art. 286 h. 2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ” - abuse of authority to civil servants.

The “football” case, directing either the prosecutor’s office, then to the UK, however, the official was never attracted.

Most residents had to evacuate on their own.

In the fall of 2024, refugees once again turned to the UK with a request to check the actions of Degtyareva. On February 8, the acting governor Khinshtein during a meeting with residents said that the audit of the head of the district ended in nothing: the Investigative Committee did not find violations and refused to institute criminal proceedings against her. However, a few days later it became known that the UK once again check Degtyarev, and again due to the failure of the evacuation.
