Russia and the USA held negotiations in Saudi Arabia - without the participation of representatives of Ukraine and European countries. The delegations headed by the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio talked among themselves for 4.5 hours.

According to the results of the negotiations, the parties agreed to continue work to improve bilateral relations (in particular, to restore the number of diplomatic mission in Moscow and Washington), as well as begin the “process of Ukrainian settlement”.
