Belgorod State University deleted from his social networks a video of the meeting of Metropolitan of Belgorod and Starooskolsky John with students, during which the representative of the Russian Orthodox Church called the head of the safe Internet league Ekaterina Mizulin “Pickle”. Attention was drawn to the Blatgorod telegram channel.

At the meeting, which took place on February 14, the Metropolitan was asked the question of how he evaluates the work of Mizulina. The Metropolitan asked who it was - and stated that he was not familiar with her activities. When the moderator explained to him that Mizulin “monitors” the Internet and “scribblers”, the representative of the Russian Orthodox Church replied: “A informer, or what?”

At the same time, the metropolitan apologized almost immediately, but added that "you can’t rob people, rob information, and rob freedom."
