The full -scale invasion of Russia in Ukraine begins.
It became popular to say: “If we agreed not to accept Ukraine in NATO, all this could have been avoided.” This is completely wrong. Putin announced his conditions. And one of these conditions is that all the countries that have joined NATO since 1997 leave him. Or, at least for NATO troops to leave all the countries that entered the Alliance after 1997. This is Romania, this is Lithuania, all the Baltic countries. His desires are clear from this: maybe not to rule these countries directly, but so that they are something like Belarus-so that they are in his sphere of influence. I think we should firmly say that this will not happen.

I would like to tell more, but so far I can say: it is quite obvious to many that something is wrong with Putin. He was always a killer, but now he has a different problem - and significant. It would be a mistake to believe that this Putin will react in the same way as he would react five years ago.
For Putin, “Negotiations” is another weapon in his arsenal. He uses them to damage his opponent and improve his own position.
As before the invasion of Ukraine, foreign leaders continue to fly to Moscow to talk with Putin. And he continues to drive them around his finger.
Ten days of the Russian invasion of Ukraine - and one thing is obvious to everyone: Putin will not be able to successfully occupy this country and rule it. While the Russians are there, they will meet bombs, snipers and death.
Many in the West still do not understand that Putin is a master of lies. He does not care about the "humanitarian" considerations. Even if there is some “ceasefire”-this is only because he will find for himself some strategic or tactical benefit.
Soon everything in Russia will begin to change. The impossibility of imports paralyzes industry. Businesses will close, unemployment will grow rapidly. Putin can lie to them [Russians] about Ukraine, but he will not be able to hide the truth about the economy.
We must focus on doing everything in our power to help Ukraine defend Russia. [...] Putin must lose. And I think he will lose - from a strategic point of view he will definitely lose, and this can ultimately lead to his fall.

The suffering in Ukraine, caused by Putin’s war criminal, is obvious to everyone. But the dangers that are waiting for us ahead is much more serious than the majority think.
Rubio voted in the Senate for the law on the allocation of an emergency package of assistance to Ukraine.
On the eve of the “referendums” in the occupied Ukrainian territories on their accession to Russia, Marco Rubio, as part of a group of senators, introduced a bill on non -recognition of the upcoming annexation to the Congress. The bill remained without movement.
There are no such propaganda and such political intrigues that can change the reality of what is happening in Ukraine. Vladimir Putin is a genuine aggressor in this war, and he is trying to carry out an unjustified capture of a sovereign democratic country. The United States cannot recognize Putin’s claims: this can create a dangerous precedent for other authoritarian regimes such as the China Communist Party.
Application when introducing a bill
The situation in Ukraine is not the most serious threat to us, but it is impossible to consider it completely not important either. This is not just a war somewhere on another continent-this is a test of how much America can be trusted. China wants to strike us and become the most powerful country in the world. And they distribute the assertions all over the world that America is an unreliable ally, that we had previously been a great power, and now we are experiencing a decline, that our leaders like to make tough statements, but do not reinforce them with actions, and that at the first signs of troubles we simply run away and We will leave our allies. And our opponents believe in it. That is why Putin believed that the invasion of Ukraine would get away with him. [...] So yes, on a scale from 1 to 10 Ukraine - not 10, but not zero. In our interests, to help Ukraine protect itself - in order to confirm our reliability and prestige.
Marco Rubio and two other Republican senators introduced a bill called Halting Enrichment of Russian Oligarchs and Industry Allies of Moscowʼs Schemes to Lverage Abject Villaany Abidymes to the Congress ACT (the Law on the restriction of the enrichment of Russian oligarchs and industrialists who support Moscow plans in order to influence their low villainy abroad). The abbreviation of the name is Heroiam Slava. The bill still lies in the Congress without movement.
The United States will never support Putin and its immoral war. Our moral duty and interests of our national security are to do everything in our power so that the Russian regime is not enriched with American money. This bill is necessary in order to prevent Putin and his minions to American capital, and prevent them from using it for evil.
Application when introducing a bill
Rubio was among the Republican senators, who voted against the allocation of Ukraine’s assistance for 60 billion dollars. They linked to provide assistance to Ukraine with financing the strengthening of the US border with Mexico.
It is impossible for the Russian Federation to seize Ukraine - all of Ukraine or half of Ukraine - as Putin wanted this from the very beginning. On the other hand, the reality is that Ukraine is small compared to Russia in the sense of size and ability to compete with it. No side can achieve victory in an idealistic sense.
For a long time I tried not to speak so publicly, because it could weaken the position of Ukraine - an American ally waging war.
Ukrainians will not be able to achieve something from Putin if he feels that he has superiority and that he can somehow forcefully turn Ukraine into a satellite country-and he wants just that.
I believe that we should help Ukraine, but only after we help America, strengthening our borders.

Donald Trump won the US president. Rubio supported him almost from the very beginning of the campaign.
Who needs war? He [Trump] says that he wants the war to end. As a businessman, he will not tell you about his tactics of negotiations on its completion. But I do not understand why we should not want this war to end. It is not necessary to be a fan of Vladimir Putin to want the war to end. [...] There is a reality of war. The Biden administration does not recognize this publicly, but they themselves will tell you: we pay for a hopeless position. Ukrainians incredibly bravely resisted Russia, but the war has come to a dead end, we pay for it - and this situation should be allowed. [...] This does not mean that we must admire what Vladimir Putin did, but we need some kind of common sense.
Donald Trump announced that he intends to appoint Rubio US Secretary of State.
Rubio headed the American delegation at negotiations with Russia in Riyadh.
To stop any conflict, it is necessary that all parties make concessions.
If this conflict ends with an acceptable way, incredible opportunities are revealed for partnership with Russia: geopolitical on issues representing mutual interest, and, frankly, economic, which will benefit the whole world and in the long term will improve relations between these two important countries.
