European countries are working on a package of military assistance for Ukraine in the amount of at least 20 billion euros, Politico and Bloomberg said, citing diplomatic sources. The European Union is thus trying to support Kyiv against the backdrop of US rapprochement with Russia. The package will include, in particular, artillery shells, air defense systems, missiles.

Efforts in military assistance to Ukraine are coordinated by the head of European diplomacy, the former Prime Minister of Estonia Kaya Callas. Politico interlocutors note that assistance will most likely be provided in the form of "combined contributions of individual member states, and not an official EU package, taking into account opposition from some states-primarily Hungary."

At the same time, a few days ago, Politico reported that the European Union is preparing to provide Ukraine with a lesser -scale package for a smaller amount of six billion euros.

According to The Telegraph, the Prime Minister of Great Britain Kir Starkmer is also preparing to announce the new package of Ukraine’s support. It is assumed that this will happen on February 24, on the third anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

In addition, London plans to announce new sanctions against Russia. Another measure of support will be a new scheme for the fight against Russian “dirty money”. According to the source in the government, the object of persecution by the UK may be "oligarchs supporting Vladimir Putin."

The Telegraph notes that the UK will “emphasize the discrepancies” in the positions of Washington and London in the Russian-Ukrainian conflict with these decisions.

This is just a deed of our territory, our resources, erasing the country and several tens of millions of people from the field of the game from history. You cannot understand this, you are simply not able to understand this, because you have no other experience.
