The court in Moscow arrested the accounts of Ilya Varlamov

The Meshchansky District Court of Moscow arrested money on the accounts of the blogger Ilya Varlamov, the press service of the courts of the general jurisdiction of Moscow said.

The investigator demanded the arrest. What amounts are we talking about, is not specified. Why the investigation made such a requirement, the press service of the Moscow courts did not report.

TASS, with reference to the press service of the Meshchansky court, writes that we are talking about an allocation of arrest.

In November 2024, the Moscow prosecutor’s office opened a criminal case against Varlamov, accusing him of evading the duties of a “foreign agent” (part 2 of Article 330.1 of the Criminal Code).

Prior to this, the blogger twice was held accountable under an administrative article on a violation of the procedure for the “Inoage” activity (part 4 of Article 19.34 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). The reason for the persecution was Varlamov’s refusal to publish messages in social networks with the dick that he was declared a “foreign agent”.

• Ilya Varlamov left Russia after the beginning of a full -scale invasion of the Russian Federation to Ukraine in 2022. In March of 2023, the Ministry of Justice of Russia declared a blogger a “ino-agent”.
