
Information that Efremov submitted a request for UDO appeared on the case of the case on the website of the Alekseevsky District Court of the Belgorod Region. The meeting is scheduled for March 24.
Efremov’s lawyer Yuri Padalko said that the actor “counts on a fair court decision”.
Efremov is serving a deadline for a fatal accident case. In 2020, his car drove into the oncoming lane in Moscow and collided with another car: its driver died from injuries. It turned out that Efremov at that moment was in a ruin in a drunk state. The court sentenced him to 8 years in the colony, in appeal the term was reduced by six months.
The actor is serving a sentence in a colony in Alekseevsk Belgorod region. In 2023, he asked the court to replace the unsuitable part of the term forced labor, but later the petition was withdrawn. In 2024, the media wrote that Efremov could submit an application for parole, but the actor’s lawyer refuted this.
