The former Ukrainian military from Sevastopol was sentenced to 17 years in the case of an attempt to kill a soldier of the Russian Federation

The Southern District Military Court sentenced to 17 years in prison a resident of the annexed Russian Federation of Sevastopol Igor Sudilovsky in the case of Stateismman and attempt on a terrorist attack, the Mediazone was told in the press service of the court.

According to TASS, Sudilovsky is 30 years old. He was found guilty of treason (Article 275 of the Criminal Code), attempt on a terrorist attack (part 3 of Article 30, part 1 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code) and illegal storage of explosives (part 1 of Article 222.1 of the Criminal Code). According to the court’s decision, the first three years of the conclusion, Sudilovsky should spend in prison, and the rest of the term in a colony of strict regime. The court also appointed him a fine of 300 thousand rubles.

According to investigators, in February 2024, Sudilovsky “established contact” with the military intelligence of Ukraine and “voluntarily agreed to confidentially cooperate” with the department. A resident of Sevastopol received the task of hiding a home -made bomb and transmitter from the cache, and then undermine part of the apartment building in Sevastopol, investigators said.

At first, the investigation claims, Sudilovsky watched the situation in the house for some time, and then moved the bomb and attached it to the gas pipe at the entrance to one of the entrances, after which it was detained.

The detention of Sudilovsky was reported in March 2024. The Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation claimed that he was preparing an attempt on a Russian military. Kommersant reported that the FSB associated Sudilovsky with the “conspiracy group of demolition”, which prepared attempts on Russian officials and military in the annexed Crimea.
