And six years later, Markos had to help Sarah Duterte become president.

At first, everything went according to plan: in 2022, Marcos became president, Sarah Duterte-vice president, Rodrigo Duterte remained an important figure in party policy with a huge informal authority.

But then a quarrel occurred between the two dynasties. Marcos did not want to share power with Duters. In the Philippines, the vice president is elected separately from the president. He does not have constitutional powers, but there is a long tradition of appointing him to the ministerial post. Sarah Duterte wanted to be the Minister of Defense, but Marcos appointed her to the Minister of Education.

Sarah Duterte in her public speeches imitates her father, often using non -parliamentary expressions.
