The United States still expect that a full-fledged truce in the Russian-Ukrainian war can be achieved within a few weeks, Bloomberg writes with reference to sources.

According to the agency, the White House seeks to reach Easter agreement, which in the Orthodox and Western churches this year is celebrated on April 20. Although in Europe they are afraid that for the sake of diplomatic success, President Donald Trump can “sacrifice the interests of Ukraine”, the US president, notes Bloomberg sources, understands that any transaction should be acceptable for Kyiv, and therefore is not ready to yield too much.

At the same time, according to sources, both in Moscow and Washington believe that without a ceasefire, the meeting between Trump and President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin cannot take place.

Today and tomorrow in Jidd in Saudi Arabia, negotiations of American diplomats with representatives of Russia and Ukraine should be held, at which technical details of a 30-day pause of attacks on energy facilities will be discussed. Territorial concessions will depreciate the death of our people, everything will be in vain. The world will come to an almost open recognition of the right of strong instead of agreements. And only a matter of time, who will become the following.
