"I took over the payments to the victims." As the husband of Daria Trepova, sentenced to 27 years for a terrorist attack, acts in her defense and is going to wait for her from the colony

Daria Trepova was convicted of organizing a terrorist attack on the university embankment - on April 2, 2023, as a result of the explosion, the “military” Vladlen Tatarsky died, another 52 people were injured. Trepov was obliged to pay them 16 million rubles. Her husband Dmitry Rylov told Paper that he plans to pay this amount.

Rylov lives in exile and supports his wife with letters, through lawyers and money. He seeks to prove that Daria did not know about explosives in a figurine, and is going to wait for her from prison. Dmitry Dmitry Kasintsev, who, at his request, sheltered Trepov after a terrorist attack, is serving time in the colony.

About the day of the attack and detention of Daria Trepova

- In addition to the banal word “shock”, nothing comes to mind. Fear, misunderstanding what to do, doom. I called, found out the details. But all night I absolutely did not understand what was happening. I did not go to bed, I was in touch with Dasha until she was arrested. Some part of me still lives in that bottom. It never stops.

In the last time, we spoke with her voice on the night of April 2 to 3. That evening, she wrote to me that she was in great trouble and that she needed to come somewhere. Then I just began to call all my friends and friends who remained in St. Petersburg.

[Before the terrorist attack] she told me that she has a journalistic task - to leave a “wiretap” and leave the country. No more. I knew that she wanted to be a journalist, on my old computer there was even an article that she wrote. But she kept secret to whom she was going to [April 2] and where. Because of this, I did not even immediately understand that it was associated with an explosion on the university embankment. I compared everything a little later.

I sometimes remember: March 31 - shortly before [the attack] - Dasha asked to go and pray for her, because she was very afraid to give a “wiretap”, which, as we now know, was not a wiretap at all. I found an Orthodox temple, defended the service. And it turned out that Dasha survived. Although, throughout the idea of ​​the organizers, she was supposed to die, [she was covered by Vladlen Tatarsky].

About the life of Daria Trepova in the colony and depression

-In August [2024] Dasha was transferred to the Mordovian IK-2 in the village of Yavas. Dasha loves to hide when she is bad, but now - I’m sure that there is no violence from the administration in her direction. Nobody is oppressed (previously former IK-2 prisoners told the “female term” project about systematic torture in this colony: about beatings, rape, bringing to suicide and hunger-approx. “Papers” ) .

Dasha studied on the seamstress, but she still can’t fulfill the necessary norm. She became friends with other women in prison, now she is trying to live in new circumstances.

Dasha has always been a believer. And Vera helps her to hold on.

Dasha has a recurrent depressive disorder. She has this - chronic, [depressive episodes occur] waves. There are times when I can understand by writing that Dasha is doing well now. There are depressive stages. She has to live with it. Now she copes, but, unfortunately, even without a prison, it will not be possible to completely get rid of the disorder. Of course, against the backdrop of a criminal case, her condition worsened. But she will not just give up life. She is a strong man.

[If her condition worsens,] she can write out antidepressants - although, of course, these will be old, Soviet drugs. IK-2 is an exemplary female colony, where the persons of loud and unusual affairs fall (for example, there was an American basketball player Britney Grainer, convicted in Russia for “drug smuggling” and returning to the United States in December 2022 as part of an exchange -approx. “Paper” ). Despite the fact that it is better not to get there, in terms of medical care for the girls they are watching there. Moreover, there is a prison hospital next to Javas-they send girls to the girls for treatment (in August 2024, Mash’s pro-government telegram channel wrote that Trepov was allegedly hospitalized in the hospital in Mordovia due to strong depression and personality split, but the FSIN refuted this information-approx. “Papers” ).

Unfortunately, Dasha and I cannot discuss in letters all the conditions of its content, because it is part of the regime. The letter can be wrapped. But I know that Dasha mainly works, almost every day - nine hours in sewing production with lunch. After that, prisoners are engaged in economic work in the colony. Dasha, for example, does not really like to sew, so she likes to work on the site more. The work there is not very female. Previously, prisoners were also engaged in construction there: a chapel in the colony, for example, was built by women.

With the connection [in the colony] worse and worse. As far as I know, Dasha receives large stacks of letters. But the answers from her go for a long time, a month or a half, and they do not always pass. More recently, I received a letter for February 20. Much depends not only on the censors, but also on the Russian Post (IK-2 does not print letters itself; you can write there only through the service “zonatelkom”, which itself prints and sends letters to this colony by mail-approx. “Papers” ).

Dasha stopped vegan in the colony, this is almost impossible. Firstly, she has little space for personal storage of things and products-that is, it is not possible to convey a lot of food to her. Secondly, you must first monitor health. Dasha lost even more from the moment she drove into the colony. In order not to lose kilograms and do not starve, she has to eat in the dining room, including meat.

About the payment of 16 million victims in a terrorist attack

- I cannot prohibit the tax and federal bailiffs take part of the salary from Dasha [from work in sewing production in the colony]. We can say that Dasha does not receive a salary (according to claims from the victims in the terrorist attack on the university embankment, the court ruled that Trepova should pay about 16 million rubles, in February 2025, they also decided to recover more than 170 thousand rubles for non -payment of a communal apartment in an apartment that went from father Daria and her two sisters - approx. “Paper” ). And the salary there is several thousand rubles.

I am engaged in all the money: lawyers, future payments on civil lawsuits and communal services. To the last, hands and finances have not yet reached, but one day it will be paid.

Dasha I also send money for the FSIN account in the colony. She has a waste limit on any accounts - 10 thousand rubles, since she is in the list of [terrorists and extremists] of Rosfinmonitoring. Therefore, there is no sense in sending it more than this amount.

I work in IT, but my salary is not enough [to pay Dasha's debts]. I took on all payments voluntarily. I will have to work a lot. All that I am in essence is in essence is the work and search for financial resources.

About the death of grandfather Trepova - the only relative who went to meetings

- Now Dasha is in touch with the family. Relatives did not turn away from her. But her grandfather, unfortunately, died of a heart attack (he, as Trepova herself told us in a letter before his sentence in January 2024, was the only close relative who went to court meetings-approx. “Paper” ). Mom and [two] sisters remained.

Dasha loved her grandfather very much, he was one of the main people in her life. But in her case, there could not even be a question of visiting the funeral.

Partly, Dasha’s criminal case was reflected in his grandfather’s health - all this was a huge shock for the whole family. But health problems pursued him before that. He lived a good, kind and long life.

About "marriage for the sake of interest" and willingness to wait for his wife from prison

- Dasha and I have long been in the general circle of friends, but did not intersect with each other. For the first time I saw her in 2014. We met on one of the parties and talked.

Over time, we were closely understood by the understanding of each other at the cultural and spiritual levels. She understands me even better than myself. For about a year, we just walked and spent time together. Dasha at that time had a guy, and I had a girl. But it so coincided that both me and her relationship were drawing to a close.

When we both broke up, the war began. There was a rally against hostilities. We were detained two, we both got into the special receiver, and then decided to get married. At first it was for the sake of interest. Then he began to develop into something big: both I and Dasha understood this. The marriage of calculation does not smell here. There are no just comic marriages. The joke was just an occasion.

I left in October 2022. At that time, Dasha and I were in a quarrel, and made peace only by December. We planned that Dasha will finish to draw up an individual entrepreneur [ to launch her marketplace for independent clothing designers ] and will come to me. But this did not happen.

The term of 27 years is unconscious by the human brain. I do not count the year. And I know that Dasha also does not consider them. This makes sense when you were given five to six years. When the term is more than you live in this world, it is simply impossible to imagine.

Dasha and I hope for a miracle: either for an exchange [with the Ukrainian side], or for global events that will allow you to leave the prison earlier. Even if this does not happen, I will still wait for it to the end.

I will not turn away from Dasha, because she is my wife and I love her. It is important to me. She is the main person in my life and I will give everything for her.

About hope for exchange or revision of the case

-If once the power in Russia changes, then I hope to revise the case. Since April 2 [2023] I say that she is not guilty. She was condemned for the work that she did not intend to do. Anyone could be in the place of Dasha. I am sure that any non -angid court will see that the indictment of Dasha was partially fabricated.

Dasha’s motive was explained by a psychological examination, which were carried out with gross violations and with the facts invented. Dasha during the examination was not even warned that this would be included in the case file. A certain psychologist [ Svetlana Zakovyashina ] came, who then turned out to be the senior inspector of the Main Directorate of the Investigative Committee. The expert said that Dasha and I allegedly called “ Pyrotechnics Day” on April 2, but this is not true (as reported at the courts of the Court, Trepov and Rylov called “ X -Meni” on April 2, while the expert connected a psychological examination with correspondence and came to the conclusion that “X -Major ” was allegedly in the presentation of Daria “ Pyrotechnology Day” - “Paper” .

If Roman Popkov can appear before the accusation, then this will generally remove part of the guilt from Dasha, and its term will be significantly reduced ( Roman Popkov - a journalist living in Kiev; in 2022, he, according to Trepova, subscribed to her on Twitter, and then Daria sent him a message whether she could go to Ukraine to work as a journalist; soon Popkov suggested that Trupova go to the journalism school in journalism Kiev promised to help with the documents, and also tied Trepov with a person under the nickname "Gestalt"-due to the instructions of the last Daria and brought explosives to Vladlen Tatar- approx .

[After the explosion] Dasha was completely randomly moved around the city, threw out all the SIM cards, made random actions - and this also indirectly proves that she did not know about explosives. She had no plan of action. She was going to go to the airport in the evening, say goodbye to friends and fly away. She thought that she was leaving a “wiretap” [Vladlen Tatarsky in a figurine] and was leaving to study journalism.

Daria can definitely be found guilty under the article on forgery of documents - unfortunately, I did not know about this, but Dasha herself recognizes this. You can argue about the rest in court for a long time, prove our case ( Daria Trepova from the first day of the detention did not agree with the accusations of organizing the attack and the turnover of explosives - approx. “Papers” ). Dasha did not know about any explosives - otherwise she would be scared. I am sure of this.

I do not know how the novel of Popkov and Gestalt can be held accountable. In Russia, they were only put on the wanted list. These people, apparently, work for the SBU and are in Ukraine. What should I apply to the Ukrainian court with a Russian passport? Even in the European court, we will not be able to achieve nothing but a routine check. After the end of the war, perhaps the situation will change.

About guilt before Dmitry Kasintsev

-In April, Dima Kasintsev should be released (he was convicted for 1 year and 9 months of the colony under the article on the cover of a particularly serious crime; the accusation believed that Kasintsev committed “active actions” in order to hide Trepova-he accepted her at home at the request of her husband Trepova; Kasintsev himself insisted that he did not tell the police about Daria due to strong shock. "Papers" ).

I wrote to him [in the colony] several letters, but they remained unanswered. His conclusion is entirely my fault, my sin, which I have to carry until the end of my life.

The court was absolutely disgusting, Dima gave almost the maximum term according to his article.

Dima is an innocent person who was not deliberately substituted by me. When I sent Daria to him, I did not know that she was involved in an explosion on the university embankment]. When I managed to put some kind of picture in my head, it was too late. Unfortunately for Dima, he agreed at my request to accept Dasha that night.

I can never make amends for my act. But I will try very hard. I hope he can someday forgive me.

About the inability to return to Russia

- I'm not wanted, but I am 90–95 % sure that when crossing the border, they will at least take me for interrogation to the FSB. If I return to Russia, then my detention will be a matter of time. “ What is the point of leaving a person in Russia when he can be under the supervision of some colony? " - this will be logical actions from our state.

I really want to return to Russia and dream of dates with Dasha, but now I am almost the only money mining. For Dasha, I will bring more benefits here [abroad].

The worst thing is that landings [due to the terrorist attack on the University Embankment] are still ongoing. People are sent to prison for approving comments on Dasha (by the age of 16 they sentenced, for example, the Soviet dissident and historian Alexander Skobov; one of the accusations against him concerned the support of Trepova - approx. “Paper” ), and the main characters [Roman Popkov and “Gestalt”] still go at large.
