Mikhail Volkov is charged with financing an extremist organization (part 1 of article 282.3 of the Criminal Code) of the FBK - according to investigators, he transferred money to the FBK account.

Leonid Volkov also said that in February his father was fired from the Ural Federal University, where he headed the department of algebra and fundamental informatics, due to the activities of his son. Earlier, the opposition’s parents did not want to talk about dismissal publicly.
