On April 14, the Bryansk Regional Court approved two years in colony of general regime, appointed to the local “citizen of the USSR” Denis Brell. This was reported by the research center "Owl".
Thus, the court of appeal recognized the decision of the Soviet District Court of Bryansk of November 22, 2024. Brelee was then found guilty under the article on participation in the activities of an extremist organization (part 2 of article 282.2 of the Criminal Code).
The criminal case against Brev was opened in September 2023. He was detained, but did not go into custody.
As previously reported “Caution, News”, a man was paid to participation in the Organization of the Union of Slavic Forces of Russia, which was recognized as extremist in 2019. The members of the organization, as in the case of similar movements of the “citizens of the USSR”, deny the collapse of the Soviet Union and do not recognize Russian passports.
According to investigators, Brel since 2016 participated in the collections of the organization where the seizure of power was discussed, and also recorded videos about the “citizens of the USSR” and involved new participants.
