In total, last month, foreigners acquired 1574 residential facilities in Turkey - this is 1.4% of the total number of sales of apartments and houses. Most often, citizens of other countries bought houses in Istanbul (635), Antalya (496) and Mersin (141).
RBC notes that Russians have been leading among foreigners on the issue of buying housing in Turkey since April 2022. At the same time, in 2024, Russian citizens acquired 53.9% less houses than a year earlier, and 70.1% less than in the record 2022.
