Putin announced "Easter truce"
Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that Russian troops unilaterally stop all military operations "from 18:00 on April 19 to 00:00 on April 21."
President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky said that we are talking about "Putin’s next attempt to play with the lives of people." “Now air anxiety is spreading through the territory of Ukraine. Ukraine, he recalled, accepted the US proposal to terminate a month of attacks on energy infrastructure, which Russia, he emphasized, does not fulfill. “Russia at any time may agree to a proposal for a complete and unconditional ceasefire for a period of 30 days,” Sibiga wrote.
The previous time, the “one -way truce” of Russia authorities announced in January 2023, it was dedicated to Christmas. However, the fighting was not discontinued. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that the Russian authorities decided to use the "Christmas Earth" to improve the position of their troops. As part of a wide peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine, the United States can recognize Russian control over Crimea. At the same time, Bloomberg sources indicated that the final decision on this issue has not yet been made. The agency also notes that the European allies of the United States at this stage are not going to recognize any of the occupied territories of Ukraine by Russian.

As Bloomberg reported, this proposal, in particular, involves the preservation of Russia already captured by Russia, as well as the gradual relief of sanctions from the Russian Federation in case of a long ceasefire. Politicians will always find an excuse for the murders of peaceful people, contrasting them with “great and beautiful” goals, and presenting the dead people in the form of statistical data. At the beginning of the war, I was madly worried about every blow of Russia in Ukraine, I did not understand why everyone around me was silent about it, or vice versa, they say some nonsense from a conditional TV. Around everything, as one, said that America is to blame for everything, that tiny Europe would get into Russian bowels. And in order to preserve “its integrity”, it is necessary to destroy the so -called “Nazi regime” in Ukraine. And now America is becoming a partner again. Soon Europe will also become a partner.
Some incredible lie and falsehood sounds in every pro-Kremlin post in a telegram or in the news. Now, three years later, I still worry about people, for civilians, by whom the war rolled up. And it doesn’t matter to me who they are for the “red” or “whites”. I am just sorry for them, sorry for their destroyed houses and farms, sadly because of the dead and the wounded. But most of all I am upset by the deep passivity of Russian society. Everyone got used to it, forgot. Everyone continues to absorb propaganda from the TV or from other sources, without even trying to critically comprehend the information. We all seemed to be stuck in a swamp, felt with our feet a weak support and calmed down, and we no longer need anything else. When I try to find out the opinion of my friends about the war, about negotiations, they always (!) Turn out. They say that they no longer read the news that live their lives. I understand them in order to continue to live, you need to be able to adapt to changing conditions. But I don't understand why we don't want to live better? Why do people have such a wretched soviet philosophy?! I do not believe in a truce or in peace between Ukraine and Russia. In my opinion, this is a children's illusion, a fairy tale. But I believe that if Trump manages to get full access to the resources of Ukraine, then the war will be stopped.
