The Ministry of Justice called the first participant in Russia the non -existent "International Public Movement of LGBT"

The Ministry of Justice called the “activist” of the non -existent “LGBT movement” by journalist Vadim Vaganov. This is stated in the review of the department, which studied the project "First Department".

Vaganov tried to challenge the status of a “foreign agent”, which he was awarded last fall. As the lawyer Maxim Olenichev, who represented the interests of the journalist, notes, Vaganov is the first person whom officials declared a participant in the LGBT International Public Movement, which was banned in Russia.

In a conversation with the New Gazeta Europe, the journalist said that he was ranked by the activists of the “movement” due to work with the Quire portal “Guys Plus”.

Vadim Vaganov is a former member of the St. Petersburg “Yabloko”. He made a camming out in 2022, when the State Duma deputiesapproved a bill on the ban on LGBT Propaganda.
