The state prosecutor asked to tighten the sentences to four participants of last year’s folk gathering in Baimak: Aitugan Kitikov, Shafkatu Ulmasbaeva, Fidan Ismagilov and another resident of Bashkortostan. The appeal representation of the prosecutor of the Samara region of April 11 is at the disposal of the ATS-Info.

For each of the defendants, the state prosecutor, senior adviser to justice, Makogon demanded to appoint 10 years a general regime colony.

He indicated that he was considering the punishment to which the defendants were sentenced, "a soft, inconsistent and degree of public danger of the deed." The prosecutor added that it "does not meet the goals and objectives of the criminal law."

“The circumstances of the crimes, that is, the nature and degree of public danger of the deeds committed by them, are not fully taken into account. It was the mass riots that were accompanied by violence, pogroms, and the use of objects that pose a danger to others occurred. <...> The court clearly overestimated the significance of the positive data about the personality of each of the defendants, actually leaving without proper attention <...> the specific actions of each defendant, ”said the state prosecutor.

Makogon said that the defendants “pulled” the police officer Nurlygayanov from the combat system. Each of them allegedly inflicted at least one blow to the security forces.

According to the prosecutor, Kitikov hit the policeman on the shoulder and leg, Ulmasbaev - in the neck. Ismagilov, according to Makogon, beat the security forces on the shoulder and foot on the leg. The fourth participant in the case, according to the state prosecutor, hit the policeman with his fist on the head in the helmet.

They also “consistently selected objects from the ground, outwardly similar to lumps of icy snow” - clouds of perzed snow, blocks of ice, stones, bottles with frozen water, logs and sticks with a nail, and then “alternately, aimed” threw into the police, the prosecutor said.
