The stand-up comics, the glory of Komissarenko and Dmitry Romanov was deprived of the citizenship of the Russian Federation at the initiative of the FSB. This was reported on the website of the department.
The reason was the statements of artists against the war and “On the need to undermine the foundations of the constitutional system of Russia” during concerts in Europe. The FSB found that this "posed a threat to the national security of the Russian Federation." Both comicians were also banned from entering Russia.
Komissarenko is persecuted in Belarus under an article on slander for the president (part 1 of article 367 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus), the comedian was put on the international wanted list.
The FSB also noted that Romanov left Russia, worked as a volunteer at the Polish headquarters of helping a refugee from Ukraine and at a mission of humanitarian aid for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
