The Russian military attacked one of the best sports cartographers in the country, 52-year-old Konstantin Tokmakov. He died of beatings. About this writes "Mediazona" with reference to his wife and colleague of the deceased.
First, the news of the death of Tokmakova was published by the Federation of Sports Orientation of the Leningrad Region. It said that Konstantin died on April 19 during work in the Vladimir region.
Later, his wife Polina wrote in one of the chats on sports orientation that the cartographer "died at the hands of the military, fulfilling the state contract to create a sports card."
An unnamed source inside the community of sports orientation told Mediazone that the two military beat Tokmakov when he painted a map near the military unit. Then he was thrown in the forest. Konstantin was still alive, handed over the coordinates to his colleagues and turned on the SOS signal, but they did not have time to save him. The autopsy confirmed death from the beatings.
In open sources there are no reports on the initiation of a criminal case on this fact and the arrest of any military personnel. The wife of Tokmakov at the same time claims that the investigation is already underway and the killers are detained.
