In Moscow, a criminal case was opened on the application of violence against a representative of the authorities (Article 318 of the Criminal Code) against the former KGB investigator Alexander Tsopov, whom the bailiffs were beaten in the Basmanny court. Tsopov himself and the “Word of Protection” project told about what happened.
The 70-year-old Tsopov acts as a defender of the 74-year-old “citizen of the USSR” Valentina Reunova, who calls himself “the chairman of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR”. In January 2024, she was detained on charges of justifying terrorism (part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code) and the declension to the forcibly seizes of power in the Russian Federation (Article 205.1 of the Criminal Code) due to stream in Yetube. She is under house arrest. At the same time, as Mediazon notes , Tsopov does not have the status of a lawyer.
Alexander Tsopov calls himself a "deputy of the Moscow City Council" and "General Prosecutor of the USSR." According to the Memorial, in the 1980s he served in the KGB and participated in the searches of the dissidents. Then he was really a deputy of the Moscow City Council. As Mediazona drew attention , Tsopov publicly supports a full -scale Russian invasion of Ukraine. Earlier, he acted as a defender in the case of “Citizens of the USSR” in Ryazan.
The conflict with the bailiffs occurred on April 23 in the Basmanny Court of Moscow. According to Tsopov, after 18:00 the bailiffs demanded that he and other listeners leave the court, as the working day ended. At the same time, the meeting on that day in the Reunova case has not yet begun.
Tsopov made a remark to the bailiffs that they were “walking around with the fascist fascia” on the chevrons, and when one of them by the name of Novikov began, as claimed, to “pull” the daughter of Reunova to the stairs, grabbed his hands. As a result, both fell on the bench.
Attention, in the next paragraph and video there is a mat.
Judging by the video from the corridor of the court, two more bailiffs approached the men, after which the Tsopov tumbled to the floor and put handcuffs on it. At the same time, Novikov threatened the violence of the former KGB investigator: "I will blow you to the dick ... I gave my hands, right now, the kidneys are fucking." His colleague kicked the lying Tsopov with the words "Go to the dick, old creature."
Tsopov had blood from the nose. Emergency doctors who came to the court provided him with first aid and took him to the hospital, after which he was delivered to the Krasnoselskoye police department. There, the former KGB investigator wrote a statement demanding to initiate a criminal case against the exceeding official powers against the Kholoenov’s bailiff.
Novikov was soon released from the police, and Tsopov was detained. The next morning he was taken to the bourgeois inter -district investigative department, where a criminal case was opened against him.
