For this, a batch of sea perch will be sent to the International Space Station (ISS), from which it is planned to grow full -fledged individuals during the flight. Now in the aquarium of the Scientific Center, several sea perches are grown, the offspring of which will be the first to be launched into space. The purpose of the project employees of the Center call the cultivation of fish on the moon and on Mars - as food for future astronauts.

According to him, the fry will hatch from 200 eggs sent to space on the way to the ISS. Pshibila said that the ultimate goal of the project is to build a “closed food chain” on the moon, using several compartments separated from each other.
