Thanks to them, I always woke up a beauty. And now I have a damage to the kidneys

For the first time, I accepted the diuretic pill when I was still a schoolgirl: I was about 14 years old. At first I did not drink them to lose weight or to look better - I wanted to solve the problem of morning edema. At night, my face swollen greatly, because of this, probably, pressure on the lacrimal tubules occurred, tears flowed, and by morning they gathered around the edges of their eyes with a crust. Eyes scratched, it was difficult to put on contact lenses.
I don’t remember how I found out about the existence of this drug and where I dug it. But I remember how I drank pills for the first time, I woke up in the morning - but I have no edema on my face, I don’t have a puffiness, I can easily put on lenses, my eyes do not itch. I liked the effect. Then I began to periodically drink this medicine, but I did not discuss it with anyone: neither with friends nor with my parents.
I moved to Armenia, and I like everything surprised me with a human attitude and friendliness. In Russia, I have not seen the company 9 minutes of reading
Since childhood, I had excess weight: with a height of 160 centimeters, I weighed 80 kilograms. I tried to lose weight, I followed some stupid diets, sat in publics devoted to weight loss , but I did not go to cardinal measures. I always liked to eat too much to starve myself.
In my family, I did not have a cult of weight loss - but my mother always fought with excess weight. She was very crowded when she gave birth to my younger brother, and to lose weight , she drank laxative teas. So before my eyes all the time was an example of how to reduce weight in such ways. I even tried once to drink such tea at 17-18 years, but I did not like it.
In the 11th grade, for the first time I managed to radically throw off the weight. Right before the graduation, I fell ill with chickenpox - so much that I just could not eat. I was sick of everything. And then in a month I lost seven kilograms. This experience motivated me not to be corroded further, and I began to come up with weight loss consciously: I began to count calories, study in the gym.

At that time, I still drank diuretics periodically so as not to swell in the morning. And as soon as I threw off the weight, I noticed the visual effect from them, how much the face changes, when there is no water that usually accumulates in the morning. I realized that pills help me "dry out". After them, my press was drawn, my hands looked very beautiful, the cheekbones became chiseled. This difference became very noticeable - and it became difficult to refuse diuretics.
Already in the first year of the university, I began to drink these pills every day. And since then for more than 10 years I could not get off them.
My weight loss path was slow and comfortable. I studied with the coach in the hall, he explained to me how to eat, took into account all my medical testimony, and set up training for me. I never starved, did not sit on the chicken with buckwheat, ate deliciously and more or less impaired my relationship with food. And so little by little, without resorting to any idiotic methods, I threw off the weight: for eight years - from 17 to 25 - I lost 30 kilograms.
At the same time, I continued to drink Furosemide. The coach did not know about this
It is amazing how two people seemed to combine in me. One disciplinedly performed some competent steps to reduce weight. And the other fiddled these pills so that the effect was even better.
At the same time, it often seemed to me that I was not slender enough-but I understood that my body would no longer take out more activity and less calories, I already had 30 thousand steps a day and three or four training a week. There was a rational part, which said that it was impossible to load itself stronger. But that part of my part, which drank Furosemide , was like a dark zone of my brain, some kind of nook, which was disconnected from reality, from logical thinking. “We don’t touch here, Furosemide lives here.”

Then I worked as a flight attendant at Aeroflot. Many people think that the career growth of the flight attendants depends on their harmony, but I think that this is not so: it depends on communicative skills, on how neat you look and work cool, so I did not feel in this regard. But they often told me that I look good. On early flights, other girls-brothels came dented, and as if I hadn’t slept, I always looked great. This attracted the attention of others, and I liked compliments.
The young man with whom I was in a relationship then (now we are no longer together), also constantly told me compliments. He always woke up his swollen, looked at me and said: "Damn, as if Jesus kissed you, you get up in the morning so beautiful."

These words were very much flattered to me. Our relationship was not very healthy, I was emotionally dependent on him and his opinion was very important to me. I achieved to lose weight, partly in order to like him.
We began our relationship when I was in the last year of the university - and then I was much more fully than now. We tried to meet, but he said: “Listen, honestly I say, I really like to communicate with you, but I can’t meet you.” He did not want to tell me until the last why, but with the help of all sorts of dirty manipulations I made him. And he admitted: "Well, I like more slender girls." He said this once once and never returned to this again. But my brain was enough to hear it once to remember: to be slender is very important.
So, when I woke up in the morning with the chiseled facial features and heard these pleasant words from him, I thought: “So everything is fine in my life. He is with me, then, cool . So I do everything right. "
In adolescence, when I began to drink Furosemide, I did not know anything about what effect it has on the body - I didn’t even think about it. But when I began to consciously accept the diuretics in order to maintain my appearance, I already knew that it negatively affects the kidneys, which was washed out of calcium and potassium.
In the last courses of the university, I had the first side effects: convulsions, headaches, constant dry mouth.
Still annoyed to constantly run to the toilet. I drank a pill somewhere at seven to eight in the evening. And until one in the morning I ran to the toilet every 15–20 minutes. Every evening during all these years I passed in this mode.

If in the evening I went to see my friends, I came home and drank a pill before going to bed. Then she ran to the toilet at night: she fell asleep, endured, woke up, went to the toilet, fell asleep again.
It all prevented him from living. But when you understand that you will get in return, then your brain with a mental problem is the same. You are ready to go to any sacrifice in order to wake up thin and beautiful tomorrow morning.
I could not constantly go to the same pharmacy. I had to change them, because in some pharmacies they already knew me: they knew that I was buying this “furosemide” in packs. I did not have the right to sell it-but the pharmacists could have some questions, and I did not want to talk to them.
China attacked the USSR due to the uninhabited island, dozens of Soviet soldiers died, and the Kremlin considered a nuclear response. Politics of 13 minutes of reading do not remember this war today
Since 2019, I began to periodically leave Moscow for a long time: either at Bali, then to Turkey . And all crossings were accompanied by a gigantic purchase of these tablets. I am leaving, for example, for the winter for six months and I think: “So, I need to calculate how many days I will be there and buy about 500 blisters.”
I understood that this is a dependence that limits my life. And she realized that sooner or later this would lead to some serious consequences.
Gradually, I began to develop not only psychological dependence - without pills I was physically bad. When I missed one day, the edema became even stronger than if I had not drank them at all. In the morning it is difficult to unclench and squeeze your fingers, because they are poured with water, you cannot open your eyes, because they are all in a dried crust from tears.
Because of this, I had to give up many things in life. I come, for example, to visit my friend, she says: let's go to the country, flood the bathhouse. And I understand that I did not take pills with me. So, you need to urgently look for a round -the -clock pharmacy, for example, or just refuse and go home.
Over time, the side effects became stronger and stronger. Several times I tried to quit diuretic drinking on my own, but I realized that I just could not urinate without them. It was such that I did not urinate for a day - I just started to swell like a ball. First, the hands are poured with water, fingers like sausages become - a disgusting feeling when it hurts to squeeze a fist. Then the legs become like tubs, they begin to blush. So I had to drink a pill to just pee.
I have not had sex with my boyfriend for more than two years, he suffers because of this, and I allowed him to meet with other girls. I am asexual and try to accept this society 7 minutes of reading
Once - it was in the summer of 2022 - I described in a dream. I dreamed that I was going to the toilet. And I woke up only when urine had already gone when I felt warm. She jumped up, ran to the toilet, then returned to change the bed. I slept with my young man. It was ashamed. But he reassured me, said that anything happens, then we even laughed a little.
But even after that I did not quit drinking Furosemide. The next evening after this happened, I drank a pill again.
I did not explain this to myself. The drug addict also understands that heroin kills him. You know about all the consequences - but you continue to be dependent.
In the second half of 2022, I realized that I want to get off the pills. Then the side effects became very strong. At night were hellish convulsions in the legs. Tired of experiencing a feeling of drying in the mouth, thirst that no water could satisfy, neither carbonated nor mineral. Due to severe headaches, I began to live in some hell.
I assumed that there was nothing left of my kidneys. And I understood that I could die, because at any moment some blood poisoning can begin, because the kidneys cannot cope with cleansing.
I walked for a long time and gathered my thoughts, set myself up to solve this problem. At that time, I already had food, I developed healthy food habits, I understood, together with a psychologist, the causes of my food behavior disorder. And then I sincerely wanted to get rid of dependence on the pills. But I was afraid to go to the doctor. I was scared that they would begin to shame me, roll my eyes, yell and report like a child.

I passed a blood test and did an ultrasound of the kidneys. I was told that I had problems - and sent to the nephrologist. He was the first of the doctors to whom I said in detail that I have been drinking Furosemid for a long time. He did not shame me. It turned out that he often has such patients. He said that he worked with the figure skating team - and also helped the girls get off the Furosemis, which they drank during the fees and competitions.
The doctor said that I have a kidney damage. I remember that I was scared, I thought: "Well, you finished off, well done." Immediately thought: "What to do?" But it turns out that nothing can be done, the consequences are irreversible.
The nephrologist explained that you can live with this. That in principle, my kidneys function, but it is impossible to completely restore their work.

Now I better not drink alcohol - and, of course, do not drink diuretics. Always, when I am prescribed some other treatment, I need to warn doctors that I have kidney problems-and select funds that are compatible with my restrictions.
The nephrologist prescribed a scheme according to which it was necessary to get off the Furosemis. Throw it to drink not at once - otherwise the next day I can smash me so that it will hurt to move - and gradually reduce the dose for two months. Additionally, he prescribed me supporting medicines for the kidneys, liver and other organs, so that during the period when I get off, it was easier for me.
Some people, when something bad happens to them, complain: “God, why I have all this!” And I know why I have all this. I can’t throw responsibility to someone. And I do not want to say, they say, this is all a disease, I have nothing to do with it. No, it's me. I drank these pills - no one stuffed them into me. And I knew about the consequences. Yes, I was inadequate. Thank God it ended. But I did it. I have the attitude towards this: "Well, right to you, Sashka, well done."
Two and a half years have passed since then. For all this time, even in the most edematous days, I never had a desire to drink a pill and drain the water. I said to myself: “No, I will definitely not drink anything. I will be swollen. The edema will definitely do. ”
Moreover, now I know special complexes of exercises that disperse lymph and help get rid of edema. You do the exercises - and after 10 minutes you look in the mirror, and you have the cheekbones visible and your hands are thin.

I have no aversion to myself if I see myself swollen: I began to accept myself. I can’t say that I do not care about my appearance, that even if I weigh 90 kilograms, then it will be okay for me. No. I want to be in normal weight, I want to be beautiful, slender, but I don’t have some kind of hatred of my body right now. In addition, I am now in a very warm relationship with my partner, which helps to take myself adequate.
I used to be a drama-flin , I liked to suffer. And then stopped liked. I don’t want to suffer anymore, I just want to get fun of the years that I have stayed.
