Former Deputy Head of the Ministry of Cyphra Maxim Parshin sentenced to nine years in the case of receiving a bribe of 3.7 million rubles

The Khamovnican District Court of Moscow sentenced Maxim Parshin - the former deputy minister of digital development - to nine years in a maximum security colony in the bribe case. This was reported by Kommersant and Interfax .

Parshin was found guilty of receiving a bribe on an especially large scale (part 6 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code). In addition to the real term, he was fined 315 million rubles and deprived of the rank of real state adviser of the 3rd grade.

Together with Parshin, the ex-get of the company "Budget and Financial Technologies" by Alexander Monosov was convicted, who was found guilty of giving bribes (part 5 of Article 291 of the Criminal Code). He was appointed eight and a half years in a maximum security colony and a fine of 315 million rubles. Both defendants in business did not admit guilt.

According to investigators, in 2022, the monos promised a bathroom 31.5 million rubles for help in receiving grants from the state. When transferring the first bribe - at 3.7 million rubles - the former official of the Ministry of Cyphra was detained. This happened in July 2023. The security forces argue that with the mediation of Parshin, 14 companies related to the ex-head of “budget and financial technologies” received state grants worth more than 450 million rubles.

On July 13, 2023, the Basmanny Court of Moscow sent Parshin and Monosov under house arrest, but soon the Moscow City Court tightened the preventive measure to the former employee of the Ministry of Construction. The accusation believed that he could hide from the investigation, as "he has deposits in a foreign bank." For some time, the monos was under the subscription about the distance after house arrest, but more than a month ago he was placed in custody.

During the debate, the prosecution party asked to appoint a 13 -year -old colony of maximum security colony with a fine of 315 million rubles, and Monosov - 12 years in prison and a fine of 500 million rubles. According to Kommersant, at one of the meetings the prosecutor brought the records of negotiations between the accused. On them, Parshin promised to “clean up” the composition of the Grant Committee, with the participants of which it was necessary to conduct “group psychotherapy sessions” in order to force Monosov’s companies.
