The Grachevsky District Court of the Stavropol Territory sentenced eight accused of participating in the pogrom at the Makhachkala airport. This was reported by the regional prosecutor's office.
The deadlines amounted to from 8 to 10 years of a general regime colony. All eight defendants were accused of participating in the riots and violation of transport safety, and one of them, Sayputdin Rashidov, is still in use to the security forces of violence, harmless to health.
The courts in the case of the pogrom at the airport were transferred from Dagestan to the Kuban and Stavropol. According to the calculations of the project "Caucasus. Reali", the sentences have already been issued 101 people.
In total, the Investigative Committee reported that 142 people established personalities, and the preliminary investigation was completed against 135 of them.
At the same time, one of the convicts today, the 23-year-old guard Gerey Jamalutdinov, said that on the day of the pogrom rested at home after a night shift, and the security forces confessed him to an unknown pogrom and torture knocked out confessions.

Well, apparently, it did not help - he was young, strong, did not admit. They began to lower his pants from him to scare him with the current. Threatened to put him on a bottle. After that, he signed the paper that the investigator gave him, ”his acquaintance told Mediazone.
The riots in Makhachkala occurred on October 29, 2023-then hundreds of residents of Dagestan broke into the airport territory due to the arrival of the flight from Tel Aviv. They searched for Jews and checked passports from arriving passengers. According to the security forces, more than 1.5 thousand people participated in the riots.
Initially, it was reported that nine police officers were injured at the pogrom, two of whom were hospitalized. The prosecutor’s office later said that “illegal actions” were committed against 29 representatives of the authorities, and “23 of them caused bodily harm of varying severity”.
