The Leninsky District Court in Rostov-on-Don appointed 100 thousand rubles of compensation for non-pecuniary damage to the former prisoner, who was kept 71 days attached to the bed in the inter-regional tuberculosis hospital No. 19 (MOTB-19) FSIN, 161.ru reports .
As the Russian BBC service wrote , in August 2020, members of the PMC came to the hospital and noticed a scars on the feet of one of the prisoners. The man told human rights activists that they were left from the belts with which he was tied to a bed in the neuropsychiatric department. In a motionless state, chopped up by drugs, he spent 71 days, after which he actually had to learn to walk again.
The defendants in his lawsuit in court were the FSIN, the former deputy chief of the MOTB-19 Alexander Lyakh and two doctors-psychiatrist Anastasia resurchin and the head of the department Daria Pozdnyakova. How much the victim initially demanded from them, 161.ru does not specify.
In January, the same court did not satisfy the lawsuit against the tuberculosis hospital and the FSIN of another former patient, who was kept bound for 50 days. He demanded to pay him a million rubles of compensation for non -pecuniary damage. The prisoner was not washed or fed in the tuberculosis hospital. He formed undergraduates on his leg and lower back-at the same time, the surgeons said that he would “heal” everything, and refused to treat him. Due to the binding of a man, the hands are damaged.
In the last March, 161.ru wrote that the court appointed two more victims of compensation in the amount of 70 and 100 thousand rubles, but the FSIN decided to appeal both of these decisions, considering that the employees of the MOTB-19 acted "on the assignment" of the department.
In January of this year, Alexander Lyah (it was at his request that patients were tied to bloody for a long time, believes the charge) was sentenced to seven and a half years in the case of abuse of authority with the use of violence and special funds. In the spring, Lyakh left the colony to fight to Ukraine, signing a contract with the Ministry of Defense.
Together with the deputy chief of the MOTB-19, Pozdnyakov and Purochin were condemned, appointing them six and five years in prison, respectively. The latter also asked to send her to war. In February 2024, the head physician of the prison hospital of Tigran Mkrtchyan was sentenced to two years in a colony settlement in the negligence case.
Patients were tied to the bloody prisoners whom the hospital administration appointed "orderlies". They treated other patients, despite the lack of necessary knowledge. As reported by 161.ru , due to improper treatment of diabetes, convicted Dmitry Baksheev died in a prison hospital.
According to the publication, Baksheev lay in the psychiatric department of the MOTB-19 related, other prisoners were carried out by leaving him, who were allowed to use violence to patients. In total, 43 people passed the victims in the case.
