The security forces reported on the prevention of a terrorist attack in the occupied Kakhovka of the Kherson region. This was told in the Center for Public Relations of the FSB.
According to the press release, three natives of Ukraine, who were detained by the security forces, planned to undermine a home-made explosive device near the city monument “T-34” during a “memorable rally” with the participation of the occupation authorities of Kakhovka.
The FSB announced the initiation of a criminal case on the preparation for the terrorist attack (part 2 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code using part 1 of Article 30 of the Criminal Code) and illegal sale of explosives (part 3 of Article 222.1 of the Criminal Code). The detainees pleaded guilty to the case, the press release said.
The security forces claim that the detainees were recruited through Instagram in the fall of 2024 - they had to transfer information about the deployment of Russian troops to the curators. Later, the defendants in the case attempted to blow up a car with the Russian military, but it turned out to be unsuccessful.
According to the FSB, after which the natives of Ukraine planned "the murder using the IEV of one of the employees of the administration of the Golopostan municipal district of the Kherson region." Who is in a press release from the security forces, is unknown.
During the detention, four explosive devices were seized from men, disguised as fragments of the tank structure and metal cans from under energy drinks, four electric deposits and three hand grenades. The seized IEVs were equipped with GSM modules with SIM cards for remote undermining.
