Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting in Moscow with the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov.

During the meeting, as TASS writes, Putin told Kadyrov that he could be proud of the results of his work in recent years.

Before meeting with Putin, Kadyrov said that he would ask the president about his future as the head of the region. “Today I will ask the president. As he says, it will be so. The election is soon. I'll ask. But why not? We did everything, built everything. And if anything, if any problems appear, back! But I say once again: I do not decide, ”he said in an interview with Kommersant correspondent Andrei Kolesnikov.

The fact that between Kadyrov and Putin a conversation was really held about the future fate of the head of Chechnya at his post, neither TASS nor other state news agencies reported.
