Sobyanin: On the approach to Moscow, seven Ukrainian drones shot down in half an hour

In less than half an hour, the Russian air defense forces were shot down by seven Ukrainian drones flying to Moscow, the mayor of the city Sergei Sobyanin said in his telegram channel.

At 19:36 he said that the Russian military shot down two Ukrainian drones. At 20:11, Sobyanin wrote that five more drones were shot down on the approach to Moscow.

From Sobyanin’s messages it follows that, starting from 17 hours, the Russian air defense forces shot down nine drones flying in the direction of Moscow.

• In recent days, Sergei Sobyanin has repeatedly reported that the air defense forces were shot down by Ukrainian drones heading towards Moscow. Due to the attacks of UAVs in all Moscow airports on May 6 and 7, restrictions on take-off and departure of aircraft were introduced, which led to mass delays and cancellations of flights.
