The Tver District Court of Moscow arrested for 13 days the correspondent of Sotavision Veronika Orlov on the protocol for disobedience to the police (Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). This was reported by "Mediazona."

Orlov was detained on the morning of May 6 in Moscow on Karamyshevskaya embankment. She was delivered to the police department to draw up a protocol under an article on violation of the rules of rallies. Orlova claims that the security forces asked her if she drank alcohol, after which they put in the car. She went there, but came in advance and decided to “take a walk” to the Big Moskvoretsky Bridge. There, the journalist saw the hanging rope and the Boat of the Ministry of Emergencies, "took out the phone and made three videos." After 15 minutes, the police detained her.

The public defender of Orlova Anton Aptera said in court that the journalist was not related to the action. The court rejected all his petitions. The editors of Sotavision also said that Orlova was not related to the Saksonov campaign.
