American officials and media accused the former director of the FBI James Komi of calling for the murder of US President Donald Trump after he published a photo in which he posted the number 8647 from shells. Reuters writes about this.

A photograph with shells, of which the number 8647 formed, Komi published yesterday on his Instagram. NBC News writes that in the dictionary Merriam-Webster “86” is a slang expression meaning “throw away”, “get rid of” or “refuse to maintain”. The number "47" may indicate the 47th US President Donald Trump.
The son of the American leader, Donald Trump Jr., said that Komi called for killing his father. Soon, the Minister of Internal Security of the United States Christy Noem also made a similar statement.
“The Ministry of Internal Security and the Secret Service investigate this threat and take appropriate measures,” the official added.
Komi himself later deleted the photo and published a new post in which he said that he did not call for the murder of Trump.
“I did not realize that some people associate these figures with violence. It never occurred to me, but I oppose the violence of any kind, so I removed the post, ”the official wrote.
James Komi served as director of the FBI from 2013 to 2017, he fired Trump. He actively criticizes the current president of the United States and supports the democrats.
