On the night of May 24, Russia spent one of the most powerful combined attacks on Kyiv since the beginning of a full -scale war. According to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 14 ballistic missiles and about 250 drones, including Shakadov, were released. According to the latest data, 15 people were injured.
In Kyiv, fires and destruction were recorded in several areas at once. Obolon was most affected - four floors of a residential building were destroyed, at least five were injured. A high -rise building was burning in the Solomensky district, an apartment was damaged in the Dnieper, in Goloseevsky - the wreckage of drones damaged cars and the building. In the Kyiv region, a private house was damaged, two people were injured. Vladimir Zelensky called the shelling “hard night for the whole country” and again called on the West to increase pressure on Russia in order to achieve real a truce negotiations. EU Ambassador Katarina Materenova noted that the blows fell on the areas where her colleagues live, and advised to read the news to those who "still doubt that Russia wants to continue the war."
