In Azerbaijan, the site "Tsargrad" was blocked

On the territory of Azerbaijan, the site of the Russian propaganda channel "Tsargrad" ceased to open. According to the Minval Politika Azerbaijani publication, the channel’s website was blocked.

In Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is responsible for blocking. He does not have a public registry where decisions are displayed. The country's authorities did not comment on this at the time of publication.

Minval notes that the editor -in -chief Emil Mustafaev demanded that they block the “Tsargrad” from the authorities of Azerbaijan.

A week ago, the publication released a review on the articles “Constantinople”, calling them “anti -azerbaijani acid rain”.

After that, Mustafaev released open to the letter in which he wrote that the channel “publishes materials full of frank lies, insults and dirty insinuations to Azerbaijan almost daily”, and also “uses artificial intelligence to create caricature images that humiliate the dignity of our people and the reputation of the state”.

The Minval editor -in -chief reminded in a letter that in addition to the United States, Canada, Great Britain, Ukraine and the EU countries, which imposed sanctions against Constantinople, the channel website in 2023 also blocked in Kazakhstan. The Ministry of Information of Kazakhstan explained this by the propaganda of extremism in an article by the channel about the "vile Russophobic national policy of the authorities [country], which plays on the lowest Xenophobic instincts."
